Aaron Unknown - Warm Up Session Lyrics [SBTV S8.EP32]

[Intro]
Come on bruv
What’s my name what’s my name
(I dunno we’ll come to that, just spray the bars and we’ll get that through the door)
‘Ight calm
(Aaron Unknown mate, I like Aaron Unknown)
(yeah, as a unknown, Aaron Unknown)
Aaron unknown yeah I like that
Yo hold tight Jamal Edwards SBTV
Big up the opportunity warm up session
My first ever. Ever freestyle
Lets see what happens, yo
Just think I should be talking about the realness
Instead of the fakeness in what’s going on in the world
There’s too much pain but
Just gotta stay positive, yo
Listen

[Verse 1]
Yo
As I get older
Realise society’s trapping the youth
The streets getting colder
Now everyday older’s looking for lads to recruit
Look over your shoulder
Be cautious my brother when packaging food
Police are all over
One wrong move your slacking they’re nabbing your crew
But I’m back in the booth
Because I’ve been hearing these rappers and they’re lacking truth
But what I’m spittin’ is factual proof
While others they spit how they clap and they shoot
But, when I’m at work in the studio
Yes, I get a clap when I wrap up a shoot
These man brag what they’re doing
But I prefer to kick back and relax with a zoot
In a world full of darkness and greed
Its peak the majority hardly achieve
But we’re starving to eat
Up in a life that is makeshift
Where ends hardly meet
On a path to succeed
Notice I jumped off the slaveship
Now I go hard for the p’s
Driven by ambition as delivered by my mum
And remembering nights me and Carlos would freeze
She slaved three jobs yeah that’s hard to believe
Wouldn’t ever see her til its dark in the eve
Lamb to the slaughter
Mental and physical torture
She used to graft on her knees
Prisoner of my mind for too long
Think its time I wear my heart on my sleeve
Doing it legit now
I flipped my life it was hard in my teens
Now I see that the youth them hard done by
Due to that there vision is cold
So they turn to the street from seeing there mums cry
They want dough, so their mission is bold
But now we’re hearing daily of gun crime
And many drugs delivered on roads
Bare man never get a day in the sunshine
They got locked for delivering o’s
But now let me fill ‘em with amazement
‘Cause I could no longer be adjacent
To these trouble makers chilling on the pavement
Because only the fittest survive
In the end grateful I got the right education
No curricular system was capable of taking me to the level of my mind elevation
So now if I got something wrong with me
I can’t let the doctor see mother nature’s already prescribed me medication
And I say I grew wise and
Opened all three of my eyes through my meditation
So now I’ve seen the light
I’m preaching to others that are spending nights at the station
I’ve got so many opportunities in front of my eyes now why would I waste ‘em
The world is fucked
I think this government suck and we need replacement
Cause you get longer for drugs in prison
Than if your keeping a poor soul in your basement
Everything’s going up and they gladly portray the name of the game inflation
But it’s funny how the only thing that’s never inflating is wages up in your work placement

Yo, listen, yo
See you might think that I’m wrong
But I’m just delivering a realistic observation
And I know I’m not perfect
Giving into materialistic temptations
But I don’t regret it
Cause my heads screwed on and I know where I’m heading
Plus I’m preaching knowledge that you never got in college
How life is a journey, definitely not a destination
So, when I pick up a pen
I’m 110 percent writing to light up a nation
We’re a nation of sheep
Now-a-days we believe to survive gotta write dissertations
Bu when you pay for your fees and slave your teens
To gain grade A qualifications
Its still peak ‘cause the majority are gonna end up in another dead end occupation
Lives on the streets
I cant stress enough, how I never rest enough
Swear to God I’m gonna die on my feet
But still I’m out here
Making a change and I preach
But the youth are preoccupied with food they don’t want to believe
Plus hear the media denying its peak
But how can they have the cheek to say there is growth in the economy
It’s all lies
And I witnessed my brothers on a grind to survive everyday of the week
My brothers are weak ‘cause your genetically modified every time that you eat
All the pollution in the sky, mess in the sea
No solution to humanities demise every time that you breathe
Only 20 but I’m witnessing my planet decease
What I want is everybody on the earth to achieve
But I know that’s impossible
‘Cause I’m watching them building these nuclear bombs as a planet to feed
But everybody distracted interested in p’s

[Outro]
Yo
Hold tight Jamal Edwards, SBTV, warm up session
Look out for more
What’s going on guys my name is Aaron unknown
I’m a model from south London
I’ve been writing for about seven years now
But only modeling for, well this is my third year now
Umm and basically I just wanted to
To express my feelings over a bit of music
I’m, I love writing
My boy Jamal he’s obviously given me the opportunity to
To expand my talents because
Me and a few other models
For example I got dancers, we got skateboaders, footballers
We don’t want to be held back by just fashion
So we just want to
Deliver it and see what you think

I hope you enjoy man
